"Absolute Perfect Gem"

An absolutely perfect gem in the middle of the mountains. Cabin was spectacular and the property was even more spectacular. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed at and we will be returning!!! Thanks for having us as guest. Can not give a higher review. This was above and beyond!!!!!

This cabin is an absolutely perfect place for a week long getaway. The setting is beautiful and the cabin is surrounded by water on three sides. Our kids loved exploring and wading in the creek as well as trout fishing. There is also enough room in the front yard to throw a football and run around. The interior amenities are spot on and there is tons of outdoor seating to enjoy a fire or your morning coffee. A 10 out of 10 for sure.

Once again our family had a wonderful time visiting Trout Creek Lodge. We love how peaceful and cozy it is and the surroundings are beautiful! You could sit outside around the fire pit for hours. Our host is a very good communicator. He has always answered our questions in a timely manner. We are already planning our next visit!

"Phenomenal...Would Definitely Recommend"

We could not have asked for a more phenomenal location or cabin for our stay in Ellijay. We had never been to the town before, and wanted to get away from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin had everything we needed to feel at home- we cooked meals, built bonfires, and got to connect with each other. This is truly a little oasis from the rest of the world. The little creek circles the cabin, and you can hear it while you sleep. It is so peaceful, and my favorite part was having so many reading nooks to choose from. Would definitely recommend! Oh, and from your bird house and Auburn sign, War Eagle!!

"One of the Best Places We Have Stayed!"

We had the best trip in this cabin! You can be sure that the hosts set this stay up for success. It’s perfect for entertaining family gatherings, fishing, hiking, and hanging out around a well manicured fire pit. We brought our 4 boys. They had room to play flag football in the yard. They fished by the river. We intended to ride four wheelers at Iron Mountain ATV park near by. (The weather turned too cold , but we got snow!) all in all one of the best places we have stayed at.

"Remote, Relaxing, Serene"

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. I will say the cabin is quite remote, expect 20-30min drive to nearest town, grocery stores, restaurants. The cabin had everything we need for cooking a meal in the Airbnb. They provided all necessary linens and it was easy to adjust the temperature with the nest thermostat. The creek is relaxing and makes for a serene stay. Something to note, depending on your guests, is the top floor is an open loft so no closing doors. This made it hard for us to limit noise downstairs for infants/ toddlers in other areas of the house. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to the area! The host provided good, clear directions ahead of stay.

"Truly a Gem of North Georgia"

A very relaxing and peaceful property. The cabin itself is very comfortable and the surrounding yard and creek is truly a gem of North Georgia. We spent many relaxing hours enjoying the fire pit and fishing for rainbow trout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already discussed returning next year.

"Perfectly Peaceful"

Great weekend with cousin, aunt (80) and mother (87). We played in the creek like kids and caught crawfish and salamanders (we released them). Hearing only the sound of the creek was totally relaxing.

Trout Creek Lodge was exactly as advertised. The pictures are exactly like it looks. There are many places to relax, hang out, play, fish and much more. The sounds of the creek are sooooo relaxing. Loved the back screened porch right above the creek. Heaven. Very clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with also. We will return for sure.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Was exactly as advertised. Our family of 6 found it to be the perfect fit with room to spare and we'll definitely be back.
Perfect place for pre-teen kids who love the outdoors. Ours basically lived in the creek the whole time we were there.
Could use a grate out at the fire-pit for grilling/cooking over wood or charcoal . But that is no reason not to give this place a solid 5 star review.

Wonderful location, very clean and relaxing. All you need to bring is clothes and food. The cabin was very well stocked. We loved the cabin as well as the creeks. Our grandsons loved fishing our entire stay. They actually want to live here now. Perfect relaxing get away!!

Small family reunion. Great beds, comfortable stay all around. Creek, mentioned in many reviews, is totally wonderful. Constant water sounds coming from three sides were SOOO relaxing. We made good use of the fire pit after dark. Don’t know when we will return to the Ellijay area but we now know where to stay!!

Amazing location to celebrate our daughters graduation from UNG. Enjoyed smores by the fire. Caught and released many trout. I wish the weather had been warmer to enjoy the creek. Once there, we never left for 3 days. Hope to maybe return one day.

We were so happy with our stay! This cabin has everything we were looking for in a vacation lodging. The location could not have been more beautiful with views of mountains with water on 3 sides. The outdoor and indoor spaces were beautifully designed and well kept. The cabin has EVERYTHING one can possibly need and the quality of furniture, towels, washer/dryer, dishes, appliances were all top notch! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and will definitely be back!

The cabin and property exceeded our expectations! The screened-in porch overlooking the creek was amazing, you can hear the relaxing sound of the creek all around. The outdoor couch and fire pit were also great spots to relax and enjoy the creek. The kitchen is equipped with everything for your cooking needs. The cabin is also near many forest service roads if you enjoy a nice jeep ride like us. We frequent Ellijay/Blue Ridge often and this is one of the most relaxing cabins we have visited. We will be returning soon!

This is a great cabin! The check in and check out process was super easy and the fire pit and river are just amazing. We have been coming to Ellijay for the past 4 years and this was the best cabin yet! We will be renting it again soon.

I have been renting places on all my fishing trips to Ellijay and Blue Ridge for years. I always looked for a cabin on a prolific creek with easy access. Not until I stayed at Trout Creek Lodge did I realize what I was missing all these years. This is a fly fisher’s dream place. My boys and I caught so many catch-and-release trout on the stream (that actually circles the cabin 300 degrees,) so much fun.

The lodge has been put together with a loving hands for sure. The owners have thought about everything from great sleeping beds, to a screened-in porch right beside the stream, outdoor table by the water and a pavilion with great couches and view, topped off by a perfectly placed fire pit. Firewood was provided and even fire starters to make it easy to start the fire. They have thought of everything with a great equipped kitchen and bar alcove. I do want to warn everyone that the upstairs loft bedroom will be fought over, so be prepared.

The sound of the stream is like a steady rain shower, I dare anyone to sit in the pavilion without wanting to take a nap. So peaceful, words can’t describe how the week's work schedule becomes a thing of the past.

If this sounds like a commercial instead of a review you may be right. Because I was so impressed with Trout Creek Lodge I want everyone to experience how much we enjoyed being there. So have fun, we did!
