This cozy cabin is a little slice of heaven. The cabin sits on a peninsula, surrounded on three sides by two creeks. Wherever you sit, you can hear and see the water, it’s incredibly peaceful.

There are some great trails nearby and it’s close to downtown Ellijay, downtown Blue Ridge, wineries and orchards. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of four and we all enjoyed our stay.

We’ll absolutely be back!

Absolutely beautiful property and a wonderful host.

I have been to many cabins but no cabin compares to this cabin. This cabin has it all and the hospitality of the host was amazing. They went above and beyond for us. Everything was perfect like the location and the solitary from neighbors, the creek surrounding the cabin, kitchen full stocked, extra blankets and pillows, easy access to cabin, enough parking, the grill area, fishing trout and I can go on. It was also so clean. I loved the decoration and the attention to details. The host really put in so much love to this cabin. The host was also so easy to communicate and quick to respond. Would love to come back with our family.

This is a beautiful, stunning place to stay! The creek is the best part of the property- the sound is so relaxing! There are so many places to relax and refresh- from the fire pit, to the screened porch, to the cozy living room by the fireplace, to the swings and rocking chairs on the front porch- it's amazing! And the cleanliness of this place was one of the best we've experiences of AirBnB's. The beds are comfy. Overall it's such a special cabin!

We went to celebrate out 50th Anniversary with our kids, their spouses and our 3 week old grandson.
Precious family memories were made.
The cabin and surroundings were so peaceful , inviting as well as beautiful.
Everything exceeded our expectations and we would love to visit again some day.

Very relaxing and peaceful place out in the woods. Comfortable bed and furniture ! Loved all the outdoor spaces from the screen porch to the pavilion with the grill. Nice front porch with rocking chairs and porch swings! Beautiful creek that was fun to fish. Nice fire pit with supplied firewood. All the amenities of home and more!

Had an enjoyable time here while on short vacation during Labor Day! The cabin and property did not disappoint! Great for the kids to fish and for the adults to relax by the creek!! Will definitely stay again!

Cabin as advertised. Creek was amazing and very close to the screened back porch. Beds were comfy. Also I loved lamps in every room. It was nice to be able to turn off the overhead lights and turn on lamps in the evening to wind down. It’s a very relaxing get away, and if you’re looking for a cabin by a creek as your main feature, you’re unlikely to find better.

Host company was super responsive to questions.

If you’re staying more than a night or two, bring garbage bags and pods for the dishwasher. There weren’t extra garbage bags and only one dishwasher pods for when you leave.

If you’re looking for hiking, the closest we found was Amicalola, which is about 30 minutes and a favorite. Aska is a little further. There are AT approach trails that look close but only as the crow flies. You have to drive an hour to get there by car.

We also went tubing at Cartecay River Experience, and it was a big hit with the kiddos. The 3-mile put in is only 15-20 minutes from the house.

This was a three-generation family trip and it’s always challenging to find a place that makes everyone happy. This house was IT. The kids rolled around in the grass and played in the creek, the eldest generation claimed the screened porch for the entire week; the front porch had enough rocking chairs and porch swings for reading; we made s’mores around the fire pit; we took walks along the country roads…we listened to the creek a lot. There was plenty of space to congregate as a group, and so many places for anyone who wanted alone time. All of us hope to come back. Thank you so much!

Amazing place, nothing can beat having your own creek.

This place was amazing!! We stayed for 3 nights, but wish we had more time there! The sounds of the creek were so peaceful. We had 6 adults and 4 kids, age 5 and under… we had plenty of room. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed for the kitchen… has a nice coffee/wet bar set up. The front and side yard are great for getting outside.. we set up a small splash pad and kiddie pool for the kids. The creek is beautiful (and cold!). We saw 4 snakes several times throughout our stay, they were harmless water snakes though and slithered away as soon as they sensed us, but still something to lookout for. We hope to be back to visit this cabin soon!

Trout Creek Lodge is a beautiful, peaceful cabin to stay at. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town life then this is the place to be. The cabin was clean, porches were amazing to sit on beside the creek, the fire pit beside the creek was so peaceful. We will definitely book another stay here in the future.

An absolutely perfect gem in the middle of the mountains. Cabin was spectacular and the property was even more spectacular. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed at and we will be returning!!! Thanks for having us as guest. Can not give a higher review. This was above and beyond!!!!!

This cabin is an absolutely perfect place for a week long getaway. The setting is beautiful and the cabin is surrounded by water on three sides. Our kids loved exploring and wading in the creek as well as trout fishing. There is also enough room in the front yard to throw a football and run around. The interior amenities are spot on and there is tons of outdoor seating to enjoy a fire or your morning coffee. A 10 out of 10 for sure.

Once again our family had a wonderful time visiting Trout Creek Lodge. We love how peaceful and cozy it is and the surroundings are beautiful! You could sit outside around the fire pit for hours. Our host is a very good communicator. He has always answered our questions in a timely manner. We are already planning our next visit!

We could not have asked for a more phenomenal location or cabin for our stay in Ellijay. We had never been to the town before, and wanted to get away from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin had everything we needed to feel at home- we cooked meals, built bonfires, and got to connect with each other. This is truly a little oasis from the rest of the world. The little creek circles the cabin, and you can hear it while you sleep. It is so peaceful, and my favorite part was having so many reading nooks to choose from. Would definitely recommend! Oh, and from your bird house and Auburn sign, War Eagle!!

We had the best trip in this cabin! You can be sure that the hosts set this stay up for success. It’s perfect for entertaining family gatherings, fishing, hiking, and hanging out around a well manicured fire pit. We brought our 4 boys. They had room to play flag football in the yard. They fished by the river. We intended to ride four wheelers at Iron Mountain ATV park near by. (The weather turned too cold , but we got snow!) all in all one of the best places we have stayed at.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. I will say the cabin is quite remote, expect 20-30min drive to nearest town, grocery stores, restaurants. The cabin had everything we need for cooking a meal in the Airbnb. They provided all necessary linens and it was easy to adjust the temperature with the nest thermostat. The creek is relaxing and makes for a serene stay. Something to note, depending on your guests, is the top floor is an open loft so no closing doors. This made it hard for us to limit noise downstairs for infants/ toddlers in other areas of the house. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to the area! The host provided good, clear directions ahead of stay.

A very relaxing and peaceful property. The cabin itself is very comfortable and the surrounding yard and creek is truly a gem of North Georgia. We spent many relaxing hours enjoying the fire pit and fishing for rainbow trout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already discussed returning next year.

Great weekend with cousin, aunt (80) and mother (87). We played in the creek like kids and caught crawfish and salamanders (we released them). Hearing only the sound of the creek was totally relaxing.

Trout Creek Lodge was exactly as advertised. The pictures are exactly like it looks. There are many places to relax, hang out, play, fish and much more. The sounds of the creek are sooooo relaxing. Loved the back screened porch right above the creek. Heaven. Very clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with also. We will return for sure.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Was exactly as advertised. Our family of 6 found it to be the perfect fit with room to spare and we'll definitely be back.
Perfect place for pre-teen kids who love the outdoors. Ours basically lived in the creek the whole time we were there.
Could use a grate out at the fire-pit for grilling/cooking over wood or charcoal . But that is no reason not to give this place a solid 5 star review.

Cool Remote Cabin that my young family really enjoyed. Had fun eating lunch on a day trip to Ellijay and hiked Amicalola Falls. We'd love to come back

The cabin, the property, everything was wonderful. To relax by the stream was tranquil and much needed for us. We will be booking again in the future!

Wonderful location, very clean and relaxing. All you need to bring is clothes and food. The cabin was very well stocked. We loved the cabin as well as the creeks. Our grandsons loved fishing our entire stay. They actually want to live here now. Perfect relaxing get away!!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! We were able to unplug and enjoy our time relaxing to the sounds of the rushing creek. The boys enjoyed endless fishing and exploring the waters. We cannot wait to come back!

Location is beautiful and the creek, on three sides of the cabin, was soooo relaxing. Beds were very comfortable and Cabin Host communication was simple and clear. Host went the extra mile in returning my passport, left by mistake.

Small family reunion. Great beds, comfortable stay all around. Creek, mentioned in many reviews, is totally wonderful. Constant water sounds coming from three sides were SOOO relaxing. We made good use of the fire pit after dark. Don’t know when we will return to the Ellijay area but we now know where to stay!!

Amazing location to celebrate our daughters graduation from UNG. Enjoyed smores by the fire. Caught and released many trout. I wish the weather had been warmer to enjoy the creek. Once there, we never left for 3 days. Hope to maybe return one day.

Great place to relax and enjoy beautiful North Georgia!

Trout Creek Lodge exceeded our expectations. The cabin was beautiful and very well kept. It had everything that we needed. There are several outdoor areas that you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the babbling creek. The host was great to work with, they got back to us in a very timely manner any time I had a question. Our family had a wonderful time and we plan to return!

We were so happy with our stay! This cabin has everything we were looking for in a vacation lodging. The location could not have been more beautiful with views of mountains with water on 3 sides. The outdoor and indoor spaces were beautifully designed and well kept. The cabin has EVERYTHING one can possibly need and the quality of furniture, towels, washer/dryer, dishes, appliances were all top notch! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and will definitely be back!

The cabin is nice and cozy. The sound of the water made me sleep like a baby. Great home base to access a lot of local trout waters. Booked it again as soon as I had the chance!

This cabin is truly one in a million. The way the creek flows around this cabin just can't be beat. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Truly a stunning and unique property. Will be back. Be sure to download all instructions before arriving as there is no cell service. Wouldn’t want to have to drive back to town just to figure out how to get in the door!

The cabin and property exceeded our expectations! The screened-in porch overlooking the creek was amazing, you can hear the relaxing sound of the creek all around. The outdoor couch and fire pit were also great spots to relax and enjoy the creek. The kitchen is equipped with everything for your cooking needs. The cabin is also near many forest service roads if you enjoy a nice jeep ride like us. We frequent Ellijay/Blue Ridge often and this is one of the most relaxing cabins we have visited. We will be returning soon!

This is a great cabin! The check in and check out process was super easy and the fire pit and river are just amazing. We have been coming to Ellijay for the past 4 years and this was the best cabin yet! We will be renting it again soon.

I have been renting places on all my fishing trips to Ellijay and Blue Ridge for years. I always looked for a cabin on a prolific creek with easy access. Not until I stayed at Trout Creek Lodge did I realize what I was missing all these years. This is a fly fisher’s dream place. My boys and I caught so many catch-and-release trout on the stream (that actually circles the cabin 300 degrees,) so much fun.

The lodge has been put together with a loving hands for sure. The owners have thought about everything from great sleeping beds, to a screened-in porch right beside the stream, outdoor table by the water and a pavilion with great couches and view, topped off by a perfectly placed fire pit. Firewood was provided and even fire starters to make it easy to start the fire. They have thought of everything with a great equipped kitchen and bar alcove. I do want to warn everyone that the upstairs loft bedroom will be fought over, so be prepared.

The sound of the stream is like a steady rain shower, I dare anyone to sit in the pavilion without wanting to take a nap. So peaceful, words can’t describe how the week's work schedule becomes a thing of the past.

If this sounds like a commercial instead of a review you may be right. Because I was so impressed with Trout Creek Lodge I want everyone to experience how much we enjoyed being there. So have fun, we did!
