Wowza! This place is perfect in every way! We love the mountains and we all love to fly fish. My husband especially loves showing his girls! Since we moved to north Atlanta three years ago we have tried different cabins each year and this one far surpasses them all! Every detail is perfect, the outdoor space is truly amazing. We hope to be back many times!! (For those who read reviews and might need to know- there is not a coffee pot, only keurig- I could have read more closely and figured this out! We almost took an hour round trip back into town when we realized this but my husbands brother came after us and took care of it! Gotta have the coffee flowing for a weekend in the mountains! Now that we know next time will just bring our coffee pot! Not saying that because it’s negative but in case anyone behind us misses that fine print but sees this review! 😊

Perfect spring trip for two littles under two. The oldest played non-stop in the creeks and the littlest would only nap in the shade beside the creek. Husband caught several trout and enjoyed the yard. The house was well maintained and kitchen had everything you needed. Disney+ played great in the evening and the needs were very comfortable. Thanks for hosting us, we will be back.

This was a returning visit to Trout Creek Lodge and it was just like coming Home, only Better! We fell right into our comfort zone at the kitchen, the back porch, the pavilion and the fire pit - and the Beds were (still) extremely cozy. Just the dose of R&R that was needed!

This trip to Trout Creek Lodge was our fourth time renting the lodge. And the cabin is a special place that can’t be duplicated anywhere in the area in my opinion, and we like it so much that we spent our honeymoon at the lodge. The sounds of the babbling Brook while sitting in the pavilion or on the back porch is so calming and relaxing. Sitting by the fire pit at night, listening to the brook can make you fall asleep. Add all of this to the fact of the stream has both rainbow and brown trout. If you are a fly fisherman, it will take all your skills but they can be caught and released.

I would recommend this cabin to anyone. It is our Special place.

This was a three-generation family trip and it’s always challenging to find a place that makes everyone happy. This house was IT. The kids rolled around in the grass and played in the creek, the eldest generation claimed the screened porch for the entire week; the front porch had enough rocking chairs and porch swings for reading; we made s’mores around the fire pit; we took walks along the country roads…we listened to the creek a lot. There was plenty of space to congregate as a group, and so many places for anyone who wanted alone time. All of us hope to come back. Thank you so much!

This cabin is Ah-mazing!!!!!!!!! If privacy, peacefulness, and serenity is what you seek, you will find it here!!! Everything that you can possibly need is at this cabin. Helpful hint...although there's only sugar substitute at the coffee station, there's sugar in the cabinet. The water pressure in the shower is awesome and this cabin is super clean! One might expect to find the occasional critter in such a remote location, but we didn't see a single bug inside. I highly recommend roasting weenies and S'mores by the firepit. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the lightnin' bugs like we did! The only thing I would change if I could would be to have a hot tub on the property....that would be so amazing since the property is surrounded by the creek. I truly wish we had reserved more than a weekend stay. If you don't mind being half an hour away from restaurants, this is most definitely the cabin to get!!!

Trout Creek Lodge is truly a little piece of heaven. You have two trout streams surrounding the house on three sides. You can hear the beautiful sound of moving water all day and at night when you are falling to sleep. It is so relaxing and creates a very tranquil atmosphere. The fire pit, grilling area, and decks all along the creek bank are wonderful with views of the water. The interior is all wood which is welcoming and warm, linens were good quality and comfortable. The kitchen is small but still manageable. The screened in porch with a water view was also a great place to relax. A very unique and beautiful property that we hope to return to one day. We loved the experience!

An absolutely perfect gem in the middle of the mountains. Cabin was spectacular and the property was even more spectacular. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed at and we will be returning!!! Thanks for having us as guest. Can not give a higher review. This was above and beyond!!!!!

Once again our family had a wonderful time visiting Trout Creek Lodge. We love how peaceful and cozy it is and the surroundings are beautiful! You could sit outside around the fire pit for hours. Our host is a very good communicator. He has always answered our questions in a timely manner. We are already planning our next visit!

We had the best trip in this cabin! You can be sure that the hosts set this stay up for success. It’s perfect for entertaining family gatherings, fishing, hiking, and hanging out around a well manicured fire pit. We brought our 4 boys. They had room to play flag football in the yard. They fished by the river. We intended to ride four wheelers at Iron Mountain ATV park near by. (The weather turned too cold , but we got snow!) all in all one of the best places we have stayed at.
